A Zeus orb is not an independent payout. Its value applies only when it lands during a tumble that already contains a qualifying win. If the grid has no qualifying cluster, an orb does not turn the spin into a paid result by itself.

When more than one Zeus multiplier orb appears on the same qualifying tumble, their values are added to form one total multiplier. A 2x orb and a 5x orb therefore make a 7x total, not a 10x total.
This is one reason a high number on screen should not be treated as a forecast. The total can apply only to a qualifying tumble, and the outcome of the next tumble is still uncertain.

Free spins carry a multiplier total in a different way
Four or more scatter symbols commonly trigger 15 free spins in the original Gates of Olympus. The free-spin feature is not simply a longer base-game tumble sequence: multiplier values earned during the feature can build a running total for later qualifying wins in that feature.
In the base game, a multiplier total applies to the qualifying tumble where its orbs land. In free spins, multiplier values can stay in play as a cumulative total. That difference is why a feature outcome should not be used to describe what every ordinary spin can do.
